I think it would be very fun,if I had stay throughout,but due to commitment I could only stay until the 3rd day.
I took a free cab ride into Sarimbun,thanks to a kind Taxi Uncle who was also making his way into Sarimbum(Waves)Thanks,Uncle :)
The ventures were told to report on Friday evening to help out on whatever we can,so when I was there in the pouring rain,because all is done,just watching the Uncle Ringo people set up
I stood with Scouter Xiang Hao under an unbrella.It's not that I didn't wanna go under shelter nor did he forced me to stand there.
It didn't matter, because I was already drenched in the pouring rain,so it's okay.
There wasn't anything,which will bring us to Day 1 of Jamboree.I had no idea on what to do....so Lukas told me to write down the numbers of Handphone Charging coupons,until Sir Lai told me and Yu Jing to go to the Scout Shop to help out....I knew I didn't wanna be stuck there,so I had to do something.
When the customers level became very low,I seized the opportunity(Being the Master Opportunist that I am) and told Yu Jing to Mend the booth,I'll be back,after a while he departs from there too.(

I went over to the Gyrospin,because it was one of the most exciting available.I then insisted to help,so I spun about 60-70people for the day and called it a day for that area.
Did you know that Main characters always stands in the middle?Just saying....I did play the Gyrospin more than one occasion.The first time I played it,I grabbed on the handles,just to be safe,then as I played many time,I started to Throw my hands into the air,Blow a balloon challenge against Kai boon(
Which I won,By the way)and calling people on the ride(Using my phone).I hope everyone that were there were having as much fun as I was(
Did I mention I beat Kai Boon in the balloon blowing competition?).
So,while I wasn't just entertaining the people on the gyrospin,I was also entertaining the people that were in the queue,I kept thinking of funny things to do,like appearing on people's camera,while they were taking pictures of their friends.
I didn't have much to do after that.So I donned the button badges convincing people that it was hip or cool(Not saying it's not cool as well),so I walked around with Buttons badges which filled my chest area and holding a signboard,with lines such as "FML !!","Will fight for food","Buy a badge,see the chest" and more.
It was freaking fun to do that and people would start chuckling at the sign,but that definitely raised sales,I'm positive.I am such a attention seeker =)I took a picture with the Indonesian scouts(Shameless pandering)
Shidiq & Nigel were about to leave to prepare for their marathon the next day,so there wasn't anyone at the DJ area,so Jun Yan took over from them as they left,but there was only one problem.....
The problem was that Jun Yan didn't wanna speak up,so he asked me to be the commentator,so since I didn't have much to do,I agreed.
The thing that people don't really know is that I always wanted to be a Radio DJ among many other things.I knew how I wanted it to turn out and I'm glad it did.
The first time I spoke through the Mike,I fell in love with the moment.It was unforgettable.I thought it would also be nice to get my all banged up hand a little time to heal.I obviously tried to Imitate my Idol,Chris Mcqueen and I did one heck of an impersonation,I sound so similar to his.
At night,there was this meeting to tell us about the roles the next day.I was told I stick with the Gyro Spin,so I obviously wasn't delighted to hear that,but I wasn't sure what else could I do,but I'll just do it,I don't see a point why I should rebel,instead I should have fun while working.
So Day 2,I was actually still thinking about going to the song dedication booth to help out,but I went back to gyrospin and there wasn't much ride,so Scouter Xiang Hao came over and said to me "You should actually stick with the song dedication,go back there now".I was really happy to hear that,because I felt that there was where I belong and there was some other reason I don't wanna stay there as well,other than my hurting hand.
Did anyone mention anything bout main characters?I had fun doing it the whole day,Obviously.I kept making jokes through the mic while promotion the sales nearby.so I have fun,while attracting those suffering from bieber fever,the Gleeks,the G6ers.
The poly students all have to leave that evening,so we have a shortage of manpower,but I was told I stick with my favorite job,being the DJ
The next day,I did the set up.There was any business for song dedication,so Sir Lai moved me back to the Gyro Spin,with Kok Hui.I had to get back,so I went kept going over to make promos about the other stuff that were on.
Until,finally someone saved me,he requested for a dedication and the business was back on,so I did the dedication until the Late afternoon until I have to leave,due to work.
The next 2 days,I didn't join because of work,I had to do it unfortunately.
The last day,I wanted to go back,but Teck Seng was already at Sarimbum already and he said that there was no need for me to go back as things were pretty much done,so I was kinda disappointed.
Come to think of it,I had fun in the few days I was there,so there was no regrets. =),so with that,I'm out.
