Author

I have said before that I always grew up wanting to be New York's times bestselling author....Nah,I grew up just wanting to be an author.

That passion brought the birth of this blog, that I always like to work on.I may not have a degree in journalism(But I would like to...)

There are influence that really just sorta renewed my passion when I lost it.Like Sue Townsend's Adrian Mole series.

But,one of my biggest influence is Chris Irvine, better known as Chris Jericho, who wanted to be either a wrestler or a rock star while growing up.It's really rare that he accomplish both his dream and lives to tell his tale.

His First book,A lion's tale:Around the world in spandex was about, the coming of age and following your dreams as a backdrop. It's about him growing up and reaching his dream to the WWE,or WWF at that time,it's a great read.I have really enjoyed the book.

The reason behind this post is not just about my confession toward my love for writing,it is also to promote Jericho's new book,Undisputed:How to become the world champion in 1,372 Easy Steps, which definitely will be packed together with humor,so I can't wait for it to hit Singapore,so until then

Malaysia!!!!!

Quite Frankly,Other than Batam(Indonesia),I have never been overseas. My parents just wouldn't approve, even if I had friends going with me.So,one day,My grandmother "Jio"(A more correct term would be invited) me go to Malaysia, then my parents want someone to take care of my grandmother,so in desperation, they consent.

My trip to Malaysia really wasn't a fancy one,No luxury of having a hotel,no tour bus/guide,just me and My pops(Grandmother, that's what I called her).

We visited my aunts over in M'sia,They were really great host,to me,even though it was the first time in 17 years,I ever saw them. They live next to a temple, ran by them.It seems as though all of them believes in their religion very strongly.

One of them brought me around shopping,so we went different shopping centres.
like Jusco

I kinda was very negative about going around an unknown country with some people I know for less than an hour,My pops stayed in the temple, because I heard someone was coming over, being the Stranger in a strange land, that what you fear.

I made a friend with a 2 year old child,very cute,He is a drama king,as a young child should be,but he's a kid,which My aunt take care of him as a caretaker.

I had lots of different random thoughts running thru my mind like "Will they kidnap me?",I couldn't speak to the natives, because I didn't know how to speak Malay.

One thing I'm thankful for while I was in malaysia, that they had Starbucks there.

Yep,Chocolate Chip Cream as usual.I was shocked when I first saw the pricing,I was like,Oh My God!!!!16Dollar for a drink,I totally had forgotten about it being in ringgit!!!

I met my cousin, which I had never evvvveeeer seen before, she was a Kindergarden teacher(and she's 19),but I realised she had this common Malaysian accent.

The roads there are totally different from Singapore, the Cars there are uniform like, they drive the same brands,Proton. The coffeeshops and many other stuff are totally different from Singapore.

One reason, why I probably enjoyed myself?

I really had fun there,I was forced to get back to singapore, because I had the Taylor Swift Concert on in the Evening, which I will blog about, probably in my next blog entry.Adios,Amigo
