Some personal thoughts...

You may have to bear with me a little bit,I'm probably gonna ramble and don't make my sense,but please just bear with me.I heard a rumor about me and I would want to clear it up


I've been a scout for about 6 years now?
Quite frankly,when I first joined as a scout,I didn't felt like I wanted to stay,maybe it was the continuous challenges I gave myself,whether it's Jobweek day 1 top or NPC silver,NYAA,whatever.It didn't matter what I wanted to do,I just wanted to show that I'm the absolute best.


In my dynamo year,I kept questioning myself,if I should actually be part of the Elite Seal venture.Which I did.It wasn't because all my scouts buddy joined,then I joined,it was because in scout,I was pretty test deprived,hoping that it would change as an elite seal and try to earn the "Big one".


Year 1 of my venture,I felt it was really a waste of my time.It wasn't really getting me to where I should be,I really was at a lost for words there.I personally feel Zhen Wei weren't really helping.

In the midst of everything including my days as a Scout,I have thought about throwing in the towel.I believe it was the challenges that kept me around.

Early this year,I decided to ask about taking test,there were just too much interference from the scouts activity,like the combined meetings and such.


I knew my time was running out,until someone decided to ask who is interested in taking PSA.I have to admit I never have earned the "big one",this was my chance to shine.Everything turned around after that,I have gotten so much tests that's passed after that.I'm even hosting a district event.

It may sound great,but the fact is,there are so much to be done,to a point where I couldn't commit to studying.

The purpose of this post is actually to confirm the rumor that I'm not joining Rovering.
1.I don't think I can commit to my studies.It's time I have to draw the lines.

2.Yeah, it would be great to be a part of it,But I think,at this point in time with all the guys that are joining.Jun Yan is joining and obviously Lukas will be there soon and probably Kai boon. All these guys are joining and so it's better for me not to be there and get lost in the shuffle of everybody that are joining and all the hoopla of Rovering.

3.After the PSA,I don't see much challenges I see for me to accomplish,after that I felt,I have done it all,won it all.

4.Apparently,nobody really gives a damn if I join or not,I would just be another rover.

I respect the position of a rover,I just don't see myself in that spot.Harold have actually spoke to me about becoming a rover recently,but I still don't have that spark to join.I may be a good rover,maybe a bad one,but,I'll never know.

STC

First week of school has ended,I have been very busy with my life.

Schooling has taken over my weekdays.Going to the gym after school is what I intend to do,to keep my body a well-oiled mechanism.

Playing gigs are always fun and they take up the evening off my weekends,sometimes rehearsals are made in weekdays evening.

Scouts have taken the morning of my saturdays and evening of my tuesday,Sometimes,my entire weekend.
Well,whatever it is,this is my 2nd Last year around,I shall do what ever I can,before I make my departure.


This post really isn't about my hectic life.Like the title above states.It's about STC which I have been over the weekend(Author's notes:No Staff Leader have attended STC as many as me,3 consecutive STC,Thank you very much).



I really felt that it was a huge transition from last year to this year,from a Rover(Harold) as camp chief to a further venture,(Joshua).The pressure was really on Joshua and his team.

Apparently,His dad(better known as Uncle Ben to the cubs)[Cubs Leader] wasn't around to guide him.If you google "Benjamin Pwee Bishan",you would understand why he wasn't around.

It was a valiant effort put in by Young Josh,but the teachers of the other schools don't buy it(Nor helping either).What teacher did was throw all their complains on Harold,like he was the minister of complain or something.


One thing is Pin Yi(Assistant camp chief) and Joshua did a great planning of the event,well,the execution...Not so much.That alone killed everything.A proper stand wasn't made,they could have made a stand.


Quite frankly,I only told Josh that I was going to help out in the teaching of the hike.Seeing him in the devastated position he was put in,I decided to help him out in doing what I could do,such as leading the SL,making sure everyone had something to do,while keeping the cubs entertained.


Doing that,I was almost late for my band's first Midshow gig.It was a huge deal for me and my band,because We were slowly moving out as a opening band and we were getting known,I wouldn't missed it for the world.


Day 2,I could leave,because Yasmine(fun-loving cubs scout leader) had arrived,I know he was a huge joker,but when there's work to be done,He'll have it well-done,so I left STC a happy (And longest staying) camper.

Right after the exhibition of the MFW(See previous post) at Marina Bay Sands,Kakit drove me down to the Birthday party of a 12 year old,Jonathan.



The little boy's terrace house was set to be our stage.When the party started,guest started flowing in,The crew began to look like it's blending into the confines of the house,except for Ka kit who seem to be quite close with the people there.



I asked Ka kit(Drummer,Leader of the crew) instinctively "How much are we paid for this gig?"

He replied "What we need is experience,so we're not getting paid and this is my relative's party,the pay is all you can eat barbeque buffet"



The rest of us were like "Ohh,great".We knew we need experience and playing at kids birthday party is good for us too.I assume our next gig is a party at my friend's friend's friend's dog birthday party



I couldn't believe I left men's fashion show for this.



We got paid in condiments,a glass of orange juice and a hotdog(no mustard,no ketchup).



I wasn't going let it spoil my mood for music.Jon had invited all his friends to watch us perform,so the 10,000(okay,it was about thirty) aged 10-12 were ready to rock.


So we did a cover of That should be me by Justin Biebs(Author's note:It was a 12 year old birthday party,you want me to do a cover of Metallica?)


Then,Wouldn't change a thing of Camp rock(A duet with me and alicia(Keyboardist,Back-up vocals).


Finally ending up with Who Says by Sel Gomez(Sang by me).



We were told to stay and enjoy the food.It was when KK got drunk(thanks to Tiger) and I did too(Thanks to Miranda orange).The beer they have is in bottles,not the Can ones,I wonder why....


So KK had a idea,he finished his beer then started throwing it on the wall of the house after a few throw,The crew got Chased out of the house,WHAT THE HELL?Good job,KK.



With that said,We are still HUGE rockstars!!!

Sense Of Style

I recently got a ticket to go for the Man's Fashion week 2011,By Ka kit,who went with me,because I was much better dressed than any of the Crew member(Still true to the crew though,whatever the heck that means).



Man's fashion week is not a everyday thing,it has only happened in 3 countries,Paris,Milan and now Singapore,which lasted for 5 days at Marina Bay sands.So not any tom,Dick or harry could enter.


Unfortunately,We had a performance later at Kembangan,so we had to leave early,I only got to see the exhibition.


I decided to blog about my style and choice of clothing.Well,I have dabbled with many different style of clothing.

I enjoy Topman,Alfred Dunhill and Emporio Armani for Suits.


For shirts,it varies,I enjoy Hugo boss as well as Messy and for AIX,Armani Xchange,Probably to even Cotton On or Uniqlo to go cheap.


As far as Tie is concern,Topman always does great,as well as G2000.


With a suit,I would always like to have a cool socks,cause people do see your socks.Probably try Designual.


You gotta always have a nice watch.A nice watch always shows off,but be careful not to have too much accessories,because the suit is an accessory itself.Longines/Swatch/Tissot is good brand,but I'm used to my Casio watch.



Sunglasses is great,I always have my uniqlo Sunglasses with me.Topman is also a good brand,but not of it is nice,Fourskin have some cool shades too,but most of it is just whack.


If you're a student,you're trying to stand out among the crowd,I started with the small black spec,which wasn't really standing out,but I matched it with my black headset.


Then I moved on to my white spec phase,where the school had no one donning white spec.About 2 months later after I started wearing it,there was quite a few people having the white glasses.



I started to rock white Audio Technica headsets to match my specs.It was more edgy,cool,interesting.Until The current Discipline master took his chance to banned headphones and people believe he had confiscated it and never to be seen again,well,It's on my head right now.


Beats?what about Beats?I have used beats before,Ka kit's studio has a couple of Beats headset,for our rehearsals,I don't think it's just worth the money,but the quality ain't bad.

In that period,I started wearing sweater,because it was cold,then I made it a frequent thing,which I have fresh cardigans to last an entire week.I wore it regardless warm or freezing weather.The then-discipline master caught me right before every single major exams then.

The very next year,he banned fanciful Jackets,Now you know who caused this...

After,I graduated,I decided to go for contact lenses and shades.


I decided to lose the kid's shirt and went for more muscles shirts and tight fitting shirts.Jeans of recoil is comfortable.In a way I try every way to just stand out from the crowd.
