Good school or not?

So I have been studying at Republic Polytechnic for a semester now.On the first few days,it felt okay.

It was really easy to adapt to their type of Learning,which was called the Problem Based Learning(PBL).Solving problems as a group is definitely fun,because you can dig deeper,by asking more questions which some people could answer.

Their breaks in between the lesson really brings down our stress level,by letting us have some food or even taking a breathe


so if you go to school and you understand everything,but no "lecturers" recognize your results?Does it really mean that you have a good result?


Don't answer that,it's a rhetorical question.The Answer is no.



Everyday in Rp,you will receive a Daily grade,which will be taken for the GPA each semester.Your Facilitator(lecturer) will give your grade depending on your Quiz,Evaluation,daily performance and Reflection journal each day.


I know I am capable of getting "A" in some,but not all.However that is not the case.The trick lies in kissing the right a**,well,Some of my classmates,Talented and skillful in some of the module don't get the deserved grade because they don't kiss a**,neither do I.


I probably lying,right?
Try enroll into this school and stay for one semester,I'll see what you think.

Parawhores United......

I figured since I haven’t blogged for quite a while now,I thought I should do one,since my life is so exciting now,I’ve been rehearsing with my awesome band,The Cruel crew and performing at CCs,RCs or whatever small event that need a band.

KK and I have been trying to write original songs to play at gigs.I have been trying to also write scripts to act as for myself.Hopeful,I can get me a job in some play or any random television show by mediacorp?,I mean I have acted in one play.

Chris Mcqueen is going back to work soon,because he is under the contract of OSA,so if he were to be on strike, he would be would be sued of everything he has.I have promised him that there is an upgrade in the equipment A.S.A.P,The new Youtube singer would be there as soon as the upgrade is done.

I recently(Actually close to a month) went to My fifth concert of this year,which was the most exciting one I have ever been.It’s by Paramore.

Their Opening act was by the Sweller,which was their last gig with Paramore.What an honour it was to watch them perform,they were great.
It was just purely crazy.There were lightsticks flying all over throughout the show. Everyone was jumping around(got my feet stepped on a lot of times and ate some fan’s hair accidently.Dammit…)

Even my Friend,Hairul who went with me didn’t know much songs from paramore,he was hopping around and trying to hum along with their songs.

I felt it would be more crazier if the Farro Brothers was still around.

If you haven’t been to a paramore show,you haven’t been to a real concert,I tell ya

Not really talking about the Paramore which I went a couple of weeks ago.

Your response must be "Hey,Seng Ann,you never talk about news what?Why talk about it now?".It's true I guess that I have never cover news or anything like that on my blog.


I was actually given the link by my cousin who happened to be from the same primary school as me,so we know just about everyone in each other friends list.


Our usual conversation would be all about Wavehouse,I.T shows or whatever interest we have in common.

So today,he talked to me via Facebook chat,so this is how he started the convo.

My mind was trying to register this line,Chu Da?Who is that?the names so familiar yet,I can't remember.Took me quite awhile,but I remember who he was.Instinctively,I asked...

me?(At that time I wasn't given the link)
huh?how?

My cousin asked me to go to his wall on Facebook(Author's note:Since I took so long to think who he was,do you think I even added him on FB?so I couldn't see anything) and he gave the link to the page.


What my cousin wanted me to see is that his friends all posted R.I.P or Rest In Peace or something like that on his wall.I didn't do it,because (I didn't add him on FB)I felt that he also won't be able to see it.


Chu Da was a guy who is a rather talkative guy I know.I think everyone in my primary school would remember him for his relation with Jessie(Not to be confused with recording artist,Jessie J,whom I didn't add both on FB either)


His dad sadly passed away when he was in Pri Sch,if I'm not mistaken.I figure that's why he was forced to go out and work.I heard from my cousin that his mom fell ill,which pressurized him and his 2 older brothers so much more.

If I'm not mistaken he's from the Technical class,so he wouldn't have know about the 3 different types of wire,he unfortunately touch the live wire by mistake.

He wasn't a bad person at all,he was friendly,but god ended his life in such manner and at such young age.I'm sure the family need the money,but he lost his life because of that,so maybe Money is really the root of all evil.
